Native American artist Jonathan Blackbird Ramsay and his line of spirit masks, beaded hat bands, bracelets, earrings and medicine wheels.
This is an OOAK hand woven, hat band. This beaded band is done in no.11 seed beads and measures approx 22 1/2 in. long and 1 in. wide with suede ends and leather strips for closure with a glass bead. The black spirit bird standing on the front is rising up on a turquoise background for a good journey. From front to back, after the spirit bird are blocks of medicine. The yellow and red accented arrows are life force and strength. The stars (sun on one side and moon on the other) send their magic out from the dark on a red road with sun on the top and moon below to provide the medicine.
This is a hand beaded red bird medicine bracelet. Loom woven no. 11 seed beads. The turtle is strong medicine. The turtle became the island that was the red mans home, placed there by the creator. This turtle is on a journey across the split moon, from the red star and back to the red star. The light blue in the border is sky and the dark blue water. This bracelet is mounted on an turquoise suede covered metal cuff.
This is a hand beaded spider mother medicine bracelet. Loom woven no. 11 seed beads. The center is the spider mothers carrying their medicine in both directions on a turquoise background. On each end are medicine flowers. Yellow for the sun, Orange surrounding the turquoise represents the web in the sunlight. The red is giving them the strength to build the dream illusions. This bracelet has a barrel clasp.

Blackbird was very pleasant to deal with. His items are true OOAK and have a beautiful story along with them. These will be sure to keep my wife and I company for a long long time.
